I started in electrical engineering and ended up in software. DD Techniek & IT is registered for both because I never really left the first one behind.
Electrical engineering and automation at Colegio EPI in Aruba, then embedded systems at De Haagse Hogeschool, then software engineering at Hogeschool Leiden. Each step moved further up the stack without throwing away the one below it, which is why hardware-adjacent work does not have to be handed off partway through.
Today I develop internal platforms at Delta Fiber, and I take on independent work under my own name. Most of it is software: the data model and its security, the application, the pipeline that deploys it, and the monitoring that says when it stopped working. The projects on this site are the argument for that. There is nothing listed that I did not build.
