Electrical installation work in Rotterdam

DD Techniek & IT is registered for electrical installation work under SBI 43212, alongside software development under SBI 62100. The two are registered together on purpose: the same person who wires a building can also write the software that reads it.

What is offered

• —Indoor 230V single phase installation: distribution board, circuit breakers, residual-current devices.
• —Wiring pulled through PVC conduit, with sockets, switches and lighting points placed and connected.
• —Home automation and network cabling, measured and tested before handover.

The Dutch domestic supply is 230V single phase and three phase is 400V. All of the above is indoor work on the installation side of the meter. Anything on the grid side of it belongs to the network operator, the netbeheerder, and stays there.

What handover means here

Handover is not the moment the cover goes back on. Continuity, insulation resistance and the trip of each residual-current device are checked and the readings written down, so what you are handed is a set of measurements rather than an assurance. A circuit nobody measured is a circuit nobody knows anything about, including the person who installed it.

Background

Behind the trade registration sits a diploma in Electrical Engineering (Automation) from Colegio EPI, Aruba, finished in 2016. That is education and not a certification, and the two are not the same thing: it records what was studied, not what anyone is licensed to sign off.

A minor in Robotics, Home Automation and Industrial Automation, and an Arduino I²C master and slave system built with sensor input on one controller and an LCD interface on the other. That is embedded and control work rather than installation work, and it is stated here as what it is.

The minor covered microcontrollers, analogue-to-digital conversion, semiconductors, DC motors and H-bridges, unipolar and bipolar stepper motors, and communication protocols including MQTT and 433 MHz. That is the automation half of home automation: the part that decides what a relay does and when, rather than the part that pulls the cable to it.

Two build projects sit behind that, both described in the work section. One is a microwave control panel rebuilt across two Arduino boards, where running out of pins became an I²C bus between a master and a slave reading a remote potentiometer. The other is a cocktail machine with a stepper-driven carousel, servo-driven pumps and relays for the mixers, with the ordering page served by an ESP8266 on the local network. Both are student projects and both say so.

No certifications are held and no commercial installations have been delivered. That is worth saying plainly rather than leaving a reader to assume either way.

So the honest shape of this offer is two halves of different weights. The software half has systems running in production. The electrical half has a trade registration, a diploma, a minor and two build projects behind it. Anyone deciding whether to hire this company for a job should weigh those differently, and this page would rather say so than let a reader work it out afterwards.
